Lift Every Voice began with loss...
After the loss of stepfather Denny Williams to suicide in 2018, LEV was born from a simple realization: We are worthy. We are capable.
And sometimes, we need to be reminded.
That belief inspired the creation of a self-awareness student organization in Philadelphia, PA. Lift Every Voice was then officially registered as a business in September 2019.
Since then, LEV has grown into Phoenix, AZ and expanded its work through corporate experiences, community initiatives, and partnerships that create space for people to connect, reflect, and grow. Taking time to lift every voice, one voice at a time.
One life sparked LEV. Many voices now shape the experience.
Kaila Hammonds, MSP, LC Founder & CEO
With a background rooted in the arts, psychology, and life coaching, Kaila Hammonds brings creativity, insight, and intention to the work of helping people grow.
With 8+ years of experience in community impact, program development, sales, social services, and leadership, Kaila has built and led initiatives that create pathways to growth and opportunity. Her work spans workforce development, small business growth, career readiness, and community empowerment, supporting college students, veterans, women, low-income and Native American communities, and justice-impacted individuals.
Her experience also includes building relationships across universities, apartment communities, transition homes, rural communities, municipalities, and economic development organizations, connecting people and businesses to resources such as lending, legal support, marketing, workforce opportunities, and business development services.
A lifelong artist, Kaila has received the President’s Award for Outstanding Service to the Community and numerous county and state visual arts awards. Her artwork has been exhibited in galleries, government buildings, and museums across Washington, D.C., Cincinnati, Maryland, and Philadelphia.
She also serves on the Board of Directors for Silent Witness, continuing her commitment to community impact beyond LEV.
Her creative perspective shapes LEV’s social projects and community-centered experiences, creating space for connection, personal and professional growth, and meaningful, lasting impact.
